Started in 1977 as a better way to tune Weber carburetors for his Cobra, Jim Inglese founded Inglese™ as a way to make visually stunning induction systems run as well as they looked. His goal was to pre-jet and tune the carburetors prior to installation so that they would work perfectly – right out of the box. After working on his own vehicles, Inglese began building Weber carb set-ups for friends and continued to expand for almost 30 years into the Inglese™ we now know. In 2007, Inglese™ became part of the COMP Performance Group™ family, who broke tradition by introducing Inglese™ Electronic Fuel Injection Systems for Small Block Chevy and Small Block Ford applications, as well as continuing to offer the Weber carburetor systems on which it originally built its business.
