The two-barrel 44/48mm IDF, is one of the more popular Inglése™ Weber carburetors. IDF carburetors are available from Inglése™ with either 44 or 48mm bore and throttle plate diameter; the "IDF" suffix indicates that this is a high performance downdraft carburetor.

The IDF carburetor design is simple and elegant, with no metering rods, power valves, rubber seals or plastic parts. Its features a diaphragm-style accelerator pump and brass floats, and its throttle shaft rides in precision roller bearings. Inglése™ 44/48 IDFs can be tuned to work with nearly any displacement or compression ratio by virtue of interchangeable venturi that permit them to be tuned to flow as much (or as little) CFM as your engine requires. Inglése™-tuned IDFs offer superb torque and a smooth horsepower curve, which makes them especially well suited to street use.
